A Bernat crochet dress with embroidered flowers design from McCall's Needlework & Crafts:

Hysterical!
ReplyDeleteIf you want to be shy retiring wall flower who doesn't draw attention to yourself, best not to put a crocheted tiffany lampshade over your work-wear. If you don't want to be considered a shy retiring wall flower, look as if you could hold a conversation.
Sometimes a love of vintage shows you it's better not to turn the clock back.
I don't like the back ground color, and crochet dresses don't hold their shape well, but I would love to crochet just the flower part and attach it to a boring coat or something.

Wow what a fabulous dress. I love crocheted dresses they're so pretty. I wouldn't pick those colors but I love the design!

I bet that thing weighs a ton! Not my cup o tea when it first debuted. Still not.
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll admit that the flowers would look good on something else. But that's as far as I'll go!
ReplyDeleteThat is....something else! I think the flowers might be the least horrifying part.
