I still love Dan River Fabrics. Used to be able to buy them at all the local shops in my hometown, The plant was about an hour or so from us.
ReplyDeleteMy college Room mates Daddy was an engineer there before he became a textiles Professor at Clemson University where we were in school.
That's a great ad. Do you frame the ones you show us? I have a few framed ads from the 50's and 60's

I don't frame the original ads if the magazine is still intact. But if it's falling apart then I separate the ads for framing (haven't done it yet, I just have a pile!).
