Me!  We'll, actually I'm crocheting.   And wishing for a pair of suede boots like those in this ad.

  1. Knitting, of course. A teal cowl out of Patons Lace Sequin for my daughter. This one's in aquamarine. I finished the peridot one for her sister a few days ago and I have a ball of amethyst to make one for myself. My girls are loving the sparkles! :) --Barbie

    1. I adore them too! Maybe I'll stumble over a vintage pair someday.

  3. In addition to digging those boots- wowza!!! - I am digging her knitting pouch on the side of her chair! Must figure out something like that for me. I'm knitting a Carolina Blue Halloween Wig for a friend. She's a huge TarHeel fan and recently lost all her hair to chemo. She'll get a good laugh and then wear the wig - which is very toboggan like - to the next football game!

    1. You know, that pouch or holder on the side of the chair is really cool! I hadn't noticed before...I was too focused on the boots! I hope you'll share a pic of the new wig when you are done!

  4. If I could go back in time and (somehow) inject one trend into my beloved mid-century fashions, I seriously think it might be boots (specifically taller boots). Not that their lack of popularity at the time stops me from sporting mine come wintertime - a Canadian gal needs some stylish heavy duty footwear once snow season begins!

    1. And those suede boots would be so stylish! If you had a pair of those I'd bet you'd be willing to branch out from 1950s style into the 1970s for a while!
