I am speechless, once again.

Love the tape measure in the second ad - my very first thought was that it would make for (if only from an appearance standpoint) a great camera or guitar strap.

I agree that the tape measure is very cute, but the jumpsuit is a little scary...!
DeleteThis really takes me back. My high school had a strict dress code until 1972 which included no pants and certainly no shorts. But for some unknown reason they allowed "culottes" and culotte jumpsuits. I guess that had not figured on garments like the jumpsuit in your ad, but I can remember sewing a very similar one and actually wearing it to school in 1972. Mine was probably a shade longer than that one, but it might have been the same pattern.
ReplyDeleteI think the style of this outfit works well for a teen, but egads! I think that the polyester print is just awful, especially with the blue sweater and tights underneath!
DeleteI would imagine given the dress code at your school you would have had a longer hem!
Wow what an interesting looking outfit. The heart belt really seals the deal! :P
ReplyDeleteThe heart belt is the only thing I like about this outfit! :)
